Chapter Three | The Evolution Story

 

We explore the mechanics of classical evolution and take a step further to propose a mechanism that drives evolution forward. The concept of progress is discussed from both biological and social perspectives. We paint a picture of progress and celebrate the achievements of life - from the efforts of single-celled organisms to the ambitions of modern civilization. While this viewpoint has previously stirred much debate, as we escalate through the 21st century, there is plenty of evidence in favor of a new perspective.
